We always stay in safe, guarded compounds when out of the country and have wonderful people in Guatemala who provide safe transportation while there.

Our History
Giving Saves is a 501c3, non-profit, founded in 2010 after Kathleen Bowen, an RN working with medical teams in Haiti, saw a need for further help. This project ended in 2019, but Giving Saves continues to provide a small feeding program in Montrouis, Haiti. The main focus now is helping support medical teams who travel to Guatemala and Wendover Utah.

GIVING SAVES MISSION To raise funds and coordinate activities that will allow a person’s basic nutritional, health and educational needs to be met; concentrating on the underprivileged in third world countries. The initial focus would start with support of the newly organized Work of Art Orphanage in Montrouis, Haiti.
